BURNABY, BC, March 10 /CNW/ - Photon Control Inc. ("Photon") (TSX-VEN: PHO) reports that it has been chosen to supply an optical flow meter to measure flare gas for Statoil, the international oil and gas company headquartered in Norway. The meter will be installed in the Tjeldbergodden plant to measure flue gases at very high temperatures. Photon's meters are uniquely suited to measure flare gas in widely ranging flow rates.

"We are very pleased to be working with such a progressive company as Statoil. This gives Photon a good opportunity to test its technology in a new application and in a substantial and growing market," reports S. Robert Blair, President of Photon.
